The Dock Technik retractable dock shelter plays an integral role in ensuring the loading bay remains protected from the elements during the loading process. When the vehicle docks on the bay the dock buffers will ensure there is sufficient space between the vehicle and the building so as not to cause any damage. Without a retractable dock shelter installed, the rain water can penetrate the gap between the vehicle and the loading bay and cause a serious health and safety hazard.
